00:06:59 Happy 3rd birthday ATW formally Off the Shelf.
NEWS
00:10:28 Back in 2013, Hasbro released the Transformers Generations Thrilling 30 line, which included Orion Pax. What was not widely known was that many of these releases were designed with alternative heads – one of which was a Kup head for Orion Pax. Orion’s alternate mode already lent itself to Kup, and the alternate head – seen here via images released by Pete Sinclair, formerly of Fun Publications and Botcon
00:15:42 Much has been made of the fact that Takara Tomy will be releasing Power of the Primes figures essentially unchanged from their original Hasbro forms in Japan. Takara’s Legends line traditionally sees more collector-friendly and cartoon accurate paint jobs on figures, and collectors have been concerned that that may be at an end. It seems from a REALLY poor machine translation that some exclusives will continue, and that Takara Tomy Mall might be the future home of those exclusives.
Other news
00:23:32 Kidrobot Transformers Vs. G.I. Joe Mini Vinyls Gallery
00:28:04 Singaporean Transformers fans are getting a look at Power of the Primes wave 2, just as wave 1 finally goes on wide release here in Australia.
00:38:03 Via Weibo we have new images of Zeta Toys ZA-03 Blitzkrieg (Masterpiece Scaled G1 Onslaught) Color Prototype.
The new images reveal which seems to be the possible final deco of this toy and several images of the alt mode. In a nice nod to the original G1 toy, the alt mode can also add a ramp to its configuration and carry other Zeta Toys figures like ZA-01 Take Off (Blast Off) and ZA-05 Racket (Swindle). You may consider the cannons too big for this mode.
00:43:57 Via Planet X on Facebook we have a look at the group’s upcoming figures, Morpheus, Phobetor and Phantasus. The trio are based on the Insecticons Sharpshot, Hardshell, and Kickback (in game names) from Fall of Cybertron. Kickback closely resembles the one released by Hasbro in approach – unsurprising given both draw from the same inspirations – while the other two Insecticons are new designs
00:47:34 3P company Mister Moon has shared more images of their upcoming Mister Moon Mini Master Series MM03 Grasshopper (Cliffjumper).
Grass Hopper is a mini transforming G1 Cliffjumper figure standing about 4 inches tall, ideal for a Legends-sized collection. We have renders and images of the prototype showing a very nice robot mode which includes a blaster cannon and pistol. The alt mode is kind of a mix between the original toy and the cartoon design.
00:49:16 We have some new images of Ocular Max Hellion (G1 Cliffjumper) Color Prototype.
This is Ocular Max take on a Masterpiece Scaled G1 Cliffjumper. The images reveal a well proportioned robot mode with a cartoon accurate head. The car shows an interesting balance between a real car and the “cartoon style” and brings us doors and complete seats and details of the interior of the car. To top it all, rubber tires are the small laser gun (seen in the cartoon) are part of the alt mode too.
And other merchandise

NEWS
00:07:15 reputed Weibo user TF-Factory seems to be providing evidence of a new evergreen cross generations line. Though the content of the packaging are edited out, this new reveal seems to feature Evergreen Autobot Bumblebee for what looks as though Deluxe and Voyager iterations.
It’s difficult to tell exactly what these are for, but the packaging is vastly different from Authentics Bravo Assortment and the blister carded 7 inch Project Storm Assortment.
00:16:46 we have a look at a possible test shot of Movie Studio Series Grimlock.
We have a single image of what seems to be the expected new Movie Studio Series Leader Class mold Grimlock. No official confirmation about it, so take it with a grain of salt.
00:21:27 we finally have color images of the second installment in Takara’s Star Wars Powered By Transformers line: The Transformers Millennium Falcon.
Other news
00:26:01 Via 3P TFEVO Weibo account we have a look at the color prototype of TE-01 Hot Fire (Masterpiece Scaled TLK Hot Rod).
This a very impressive and movie-accurate TLK Hot Rod which, according to what we can see from the images, has got an excellent level of detail, and even the back of the figure looks very solid and with only a bit of kibble. It is made to be on scale with the new Masterpiece Movie figures like Bumblebee.
00:31:16 Via DX9 Weibo account we get some great images of the color prototype of DX9 x Uniquetoys K3 La Hire.
This is a DX9 Toys project that also get the collaboration of Unique Toys to bring us a highly detailed Masterpiece scaled TLK Hot Rod. This figure proves to be very nice molded and with a very accurate alt mode. We have a look at the extra accessories that it will include: 1 energy gun and 1 submachine gun. Additionally, they are offering 2 extra flame accessories for the guns and one Viviane Wembly mini-figure that can hold Merlin’s staff and can sit on the driver seat in the alt mode.
DX9 Facebook also gives us a description of other features and material of this new Hot Rod:
K3 LA HIRE is a royal guard knight.
Its size is matched with the MPM series. The door can be opened in the vehicle mode and put the action figure in.
The car spoilers can be adjusted up and down.It also contain many alloy parts. Its vehicle mode is perfectly matched with the real car whose back wheels are larger than the front ones.
The waist is made of rubber tube.
Coming in the middle of the 2018
00:38:34 FansToys FT-39 Jabber Prototype. This is Fans Toys take on a Masterpiece scaled G1 Blurr. The images show a very cartoon-accurate mold that looks great together with other G1 third season Masterpiece figures like Rodimus Prime or Fans Toys previous releases like Fans Toys FT-22 – Koot (Kup) and Fans Toys FT-24 Rouge (Arcee). The figure will include a rifle and Blurr’s Targetmaster partner Haywire.
Statue News
00:43:59 Imaginarium Art shared new images on several project they have been working on. First up is their humongous Nemesis Prime statue, which features a base with a tank being crushed under Prime in a very menacing pose. It appears information on release date and pricing is coming soon, so those of you interested in this statue should stay tuned.
Next is their Ironhide statue that is currently in development at this time. They have shared some images of a very detailed full body render that is not posed.
00:47:20 Imaginarium Art is hinting towards possible Quintesson Statues for their Transformers: Legacy Of Cybertron line.
The post features Quintesson face of Judgement with a caption of the same. The company followed the announcement with a comment stating “Keep Following, we will announce it very soon”
the Legacy Of Cybertron statues will cost around $200 – $300 each, depending on the size.

00:19:10 We have images of the new Beast Wars Masterpiece: MP-34S Shadow Panther.
The figure is a black repaint of previous MP-34 Cheetor. It is a homage to the old Takara Beast Wars D-7 Shadow Panther. The original toy was also a straight repaint of the first BW Cheetor toy. This new Masterpiece figure will include a new battle mask which is also a reference to the original BW mold of the character and with the unused communicator arm band that the test shot Cheetor had, in addition to multiple faces.
MP Shadow Panther will be a Takara Tomy Mall exclusive. It’s scheduled to be released late in August 2018 for 8,000 yen.
Other news
00:24:28 Giga recently released the third bot in their collection, Graviter (Masterpiece-Styled Sludge) and as expected, Graviter is one MASSIVE bot. He towers over both the standard scale Masterpiece figures as well as the previously released and slightly smaller in scale Fans Toys Dinobots.
Graviter features an incredible amount of chrome, a gorgeous, deep cherry red paint job on his torso, silver paint over the rest of the figure, plus extra paint apps throughout to really make the details pop. All of which comes together to give this figure the look of the high-end collectible that he is
He comes with his plasma rifle, dual misleading launchers and energy sword, plus toy-accurate clear pieces for the head, neck and tail. He even comes with a flame effect piece for his sword!
00:28:37 3P Mech Planet has shared several new images of their Hot Soldiers Legends Size HS-02 Optimus Prime Prototype.
The images surfaced via Mech Toys Facebook and Weibo. This little figure proves to be really nice sculpted in a classic G1 style. It includes a Matrix (that you can put inside the chest), Optimus iconic blaster and energy axe, Roller (tiny), and a proper trailer compatible with previous Mech Toys figures like HS-09 Big Yellow Bee (Bumblebee) and HS-07 Iron Tin (Ironhide). Comparison pics with other figures of this line in robot mode are included but no images of the alt mode yet. There is no information on price or release date yet.
00:31:06 Mech Planet has also shown off their take on a Hearts of Steel styled Bumblebee, done in the same legends style as their other releases.

NEWS
00:11:04 First up we have HD shots of this weeks Hong Kong Toys And Games Fair 2018. The star was undoubtedly was MPM-06 Ironhide.
We have clear and nice shots of the presentation of the new Autobot Weapon specialist Masterpiece figure. Some of the shots give us a clear look at the back of the toy and the way it manages the kibble. Of course, we have close-ups of the figure in both modes and standing next to his partner MPM-03 Bumblebee.
As an extra bonus, we have extra images of the previously announced MPM-05 Barricade.
00:14:44 Machinima’s Titans return series ending Discussion.
00:24:35 Next we have the full voice cast of Machinima’s Transformers: Power Of The Prime animated webseries. The list now includes the characters voiced by the artists.
Regarding the new talent who joined the already star-studded cast:
Mark Hamill – Megatronus
Ron Perlman – Optimus Primal
Jaime King – Solus Prime
Gregg Berger – Grimlock/Volcanicus
Nuufolau Joel “Samoa Joe” Seanoa – Predaking
Mikey Way – Snarl
Rest of cast on weblink
00:28:07 We have an in-hand image of all five Dinobots from Power of the Primes merged into their mighty Volcanicus form. We’ve seen a few shots of the combination at conventions, but this image is the first one we’re aware of in the wild using the toys we’ll all soon be picking up from store shelves. Note that the transformation on the individual figures is not 100% spot on – Slag’s arms for example are not tabbed in here – so the final article may look a little tidier.
00:31:57 Finally images have surfaced and we now have a better look at Studio Series Voyager Class Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen Megatron. Previously, we saw only a partially concealed teaser of this figure, but now we are treated to its full glory.
This Voyager Class toy is based on the Decepticon tyrant’s appearance on the second movie of the Live Action Movie Series by director Michael Bay. As we learned previously, this new toy comes with a cardboard background depicting ‘Forest Fight’; series’ most beloved action sequence.
Other news
00:39:45 We have our first look at the packaging of Zeta Toys take on the classic G1 Aerialbot Fireflight. ZB-01 Fly Fire is part of Zeta Toys Kronos (Superion/Aerialbots) together with ZB-02 Airstrike (G1 Air Raid) and ZB-03 Silver Arrow (G1 Silverbolt). The back of the packaging is part of a nice Superion art that you can complete with the boxes of the rest of the Aerialbots. The new images let us see the great detail and style of Fly Fire / Fireflight in some awesome dynamic poses and the well integrated jet mode. Some images let us see the way Fly Fire works as Superion’s arm creating a very original and solid elbow.
00:43:37 Staying with Zeta Toys, we have new Zeta Toys Armageddon (Masterpiece-styled Bruticus) Color Prototype Images.
This massive Combiner, designed to go with your Masterpiece collection, is supposed to be around 50 cm. tall and we can see the nice details and proportions Zeta Toys worked on this release. While this is a color prototype, the images indicate they are not the final colors, so we could expect some changes in the future.
Three of the components have already been released: ZA-01 Take Off (Blast Off). Zeta A-02 Whirlblade (Vortex) and Zeta A-04 Uproar (Brawl) with the next figures upcoming in the next months.
00:46:55 3P company Iron Warrior is bringing a full articulated non-transformable rendition of TFP Optimus Prime and, from what we can see from the new images, it is a totally cartoon accurate version which we are sure will please many TFP fans. The figure will feature interchangeable faces (with mouth or face plate), articulated fingers, double regular swords and the iconic and powerful Star Saber sword from the show
00:51:28 Iron Warrior have also shown off their rendition of Movie Brawl. Once again a non-transforming figure, but still packed with plenty of detail and accessories.
